Aisha Piracha writes creative nonfiction, poetry and flash that reflects on her place in this world and the people who shape it. She grew up in Laos, Thailand and the suburbs of Connecticut and is a graduate of Smith College, where she edited and wrote for The Sophian. Her writing has been published in Airplane Reading and Palo Alto Pulse. In previous lives, she found employment in law, banking and web design, but fulfillment in voting rights advocacy, writing and motherhood. She now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
